| Tadej has pushed the pedals three times on the Tour de France and several times at Giro d’Italia. Former Slovenian Champion achieved overall 10th place in Tour de France in 2008, which gave him additional motivation for further races. In 2004, the same year when Giro d’Italia crossed Slovenia, Tadej ended third in Queen stage from Livigno to Lissone. Two times Slovenian Olympic team member (Sydney, 2000; Athens, 2004) and former team members of Fassa Bortolo, Phonak, Lampre-Fondital is now a member of Ag2r-La Mondiale and is still one of the best riders in Slovenia. |

| Since Tadej lives in the outskirt of Kranj, he had a chance to meet with cross country skiing and the beauty of this winter sport when he was young. Practicing cross country skiing is great preparation for cycling in the summer. Cycling champion is excited to be able to compete at winter sport event of World Winter Masters Games. |
